Use Grips to Modify a Column

Use Grips to Modify a Column
You use grips to resize a table. By pressing CTRL while moving the grips, you can change a
column width without changing the overall width of the table.
1. Click any edge of a table to select the entire table.
Notice that grips are located on all corners of the table, as well as on the top corners of
each column.
2. Press CTRL to keep the overall table size from changing, and then click the grip between
the two columns.
3. Move the SYMBOL column grip to the left to make the column narrower, and then click
again to set the new width. Release CTRL.
4. Press ESC to clear the selection on the table.
5. Close your drawing without saving changes.
Wrap Up
You can use the Draw toolbar to create a table. You can add text or blocks to the table, add cells,
and resize the table. You can also change the properties of the cell contents such as type style
and alignment.
